Description
At 356 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line
extending from near Round Lake to near Rotterdam to Schoharie, moving
east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to
blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than
one-quarter mile. Wind gusts up to 35 mph.
SOURCE...Radar and webcams.
IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
within minutes.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 88 between exits 20 and 25.
Interstate 90 between exits 8 and 26.
Interstate 890 between exits 1a and 9.
Interstate 87 between exits 23 and 7, and between exits 8A and 13N.
Interstate 787 between exits 1 and 9.

extending from near Ballston Spa to near Duanesburg to Cobleskill,
moving east at 35 mph.

LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 720 PM EST, a snow squall was along a line
extending from near Middlefield to 6 miles northwest of Delanson and
moving east at 45 MPH.
THIS SNOW SQUALL WILL BE NEAR...
Duanesburg and Delanson around 725 PM EST.
Cobleskill around 730 PM EST.
Central Bridge around 735 PM EST.
Altamont and Schoharie around 745 PM EST.

Description
With temperatures hovering near freezing in some areas this
morning, standing water from overnight rainfall may refreeze and
result in slippery patches of ice on any untreated surfaces
across the Saratoga Region, Capital District, Mid Hudson Valley,
southern Berkshires, Taconics and Litchfield Hills. Motorists and
pedestrians should exercise caution if driving or walking and be
prepared for a possible thin layer of ice on roadways, sidewalks,
stairs, driveways or any other untreated ground surfaces.

shortly after daybreak, some of the standing water from overnight
rainfall may refreeze and result in slippery patches of ice
across portions of the western Mohawk Valley and eastern
